Prof. Takeshi Furuichi of Primate Research Institute published “Bonobo and Chimpanzee: The Lessons of Social Coexistence” from Springer Singapore.
This book is a translated version of “Are You a Bonobo or Chimpanzee? ” published by the Asahi Shimbun publisher in Japanese.
Prof. Furuichi has been studying these two apes in Africa for over 30 years. Though Bonobo and Chimpanzee are close kin, he explains in this book that they are dramatically different in the ways in which they build friendly or hostile inter-group relationships.
