Mr. Ghaleeb Jeppie, the Minister-Counsellor for Science, Innovation and Education of the South African Embassy in Tokyo visited Kyoto University on July 14, 2022. Minister Jeppie met with Prof. Yasuyuki Kono, vice-president for international strategy and Prof. Motoki Takahashi, director of the Center for African Area Studies to discuss the development of Kyoto University’s academic collaboration with institutions in South Africa.
